Carol thrives on helping people succeed in their career and life. With over 20 years experience in career and performance coaching, she approaches each business organization and individual client with an intuitive sense, ability and desire to learn about their goals, values and uniqueness.
Certified as a Job and Career Development Coach, Carol uses humor and sensitivity to handle diverse and challenging assignments without sacrificing quality. Her sense of fun and high energy, combined with tailoring each program to the needs of each client, are frequently mentioned by her satisfied clientele as the cornerstones of her success.
Carol takes the time to understand her clients and for the business leader the result is a very insightful and personal view into their company, people and culture. She then aligns the business goals with personal and team goals, creating teams that work towards a common goal without political pretense or hidden agendas, speaking truthfully and honestly with respect for one another. She delivers all of this with an affirming, friendly and contagious attitude, yielding great returns to the people of the company.
Carol is equally comfortable using her time and talents with her personal coaching clients as well; all of her intuitive sense, skills and her corporate wisdom are brought to bear with individuals who are looking for personal or executive coaching.
Academically, Carol has a Bachelor of Science from Texas Woman’s University. Professionally, she supervised employee services and wellness for the Xerox Corporation in Dallas. In addition, Carol developed her performance management skills during her eleven years with the Dallas office of an international consulting firm.
While employed with Zale Corporation, the world’s largest specialty retailer, Carol assisted with the design and implementation of the first in-house staffing function. As Manager of the Equal Employment Opportunities and Employee Relations functions, Carol introduced innovative training programs and services to the eight divisions and corporate office.
She is also certified as a Professional Behavioral Analyst. This Certification from TTI Performance Systems, Ltd. signifies that Carol has achieved the highest level of professional excellence in the use of the DISC Behavioral Instrument with TTI.
The combination of recreation and wellness, coupled with her experience in performance/career management, contribute to her belief in striving for a work and life balance for herself and for her clients.
She founded WorkLife Strategies to help others achieve a rewarding personal balance in their lives by making them better communicators, leaders and workmates to their co-workers, partners and customers.
